Busting some coronavirus myths and answering questions

Holding hands

Hello all, I hope you are doing well. The world has gone crazy. There is a lot of misinformation as well as information overload going on. Like everyone else, I am feeling the impact of all of this. In fact, I've had to take a little break from the constant news cycle churn for my sanity.

Will dystopian post-apocalyptic romance start trending?

Girl hugging bear

Hello!!! First of all, I want to say I hope everyone is well and safe. The world is changing by the hour around us, and it is uncertain and often scary. I'd like to say that we are all in this together. No one is untouched by what is happening and I hope that as a community, we can come together in care, comfort, and support. Turn off the news for a moment if it gets too much. Stay connected to loved ones virtually. Drink your favorite adult beverage. Read a romance. Go to your happy place.

We are home early

Living room

Hello all,

I am home... early. Due to everything going on in the world we had to cut our trip short because firstly, I'm no longer allowed into the US and then of course, with everything shutting down and locking down we decided it was best to get home as quickly as possible.

What Helen Read #46: February 2020

Greetings again! Still in London as I write this but by the time you read it, I will be in either Cardiff, Wales or Scotland. We are doing a little road trip to visit a few author friends and then on a whisky tour in Scotland, Speyside to be exact because Steve is a massive whisky fan and he's super excited about the Scottish whiskies.

And you know what? I'm getting used to the cold. I generally like the cold anyway but it hasn't been that cold and I've been able to not have to rug up too much. It's generally between 5 and 12 degrees Celsius during the day. When the sun is out, it's lovely. But enough about me...

Here's what Helen read for the last month.
