Waiting till the series has finished

I've talked about this in the past and mentioned how it's hard for authors to keep going, whether indie or traditionally published, if readers do not buy their books when they are released. I don't remember if I did a dedicated post about it or just mentioned it in passing on a related topic. Anyway, I wanted to talk about it here because I saw an author discussing it on social media.

What Helen Read #74: July 2022

Y'all, I am so behind. Do you know what it's like trying to catch up after losing two weeks to being sick? Argh! So much work to do. Last week, on Thursday, I looked at my to-do list and it said 32 items outstanding. That does not include current to-dos. Only the overdue ones. I did a big push on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday to get to 17 items outstanding. Yesterday, Tuesday, I was at 13 items outstanding, but today, I'm back at 15 items outstanding, so it would appear that I am falling behind again. Yikes. Anyway...

What Deanna Read #78: July 2022

Oh lordy, I am so behind. This time, it's because we got sick and well, though I'm pretty much recovered, I'm taking it a bit easier so I don't relapse and then there's also my mile long to-do list that is shocking. I'm not sure what the reading for July looks like as I haven't gone through the list. I'll discover it as I put this together. Hang tight! Another month of lots of Cassie Mint though. I know that.

Happy Tuesday!!! It's a rather exciting day for us today because it's Steve's big day. It's the release day for False Trust and we've partnered with Enticing Journeys to help promote the book release. It's a little different for the bloggity since I don't do many book tours, but hey, it's Steve, so I'm a little biased. I hope you join me in wishing Steve a very happy release day.
