Let's chat and what I'm reading now #4
Hello! I'm a bit behind on the bloggity (as usual!) and I'm here trying to get the post done for tomorrow at the very last minute (of course!). Before I get into the post, I'd like to drop a little reminder that if you'd like to get a newsletter with each post as they go up, you can sign up here.

Do book reviews matter anymore?
We've all seen it, and we've all heard it. Authors will post on social media saying that if anyone had read their book(s) if they could kindly leave a review so that the retailer (usually Amazon) algorithms would boost the book's visibility. It doesn't have to be a long review; a one-liner will do just saying they enjoyed the book. All reviews matter. But does it, really?

Adding to the TBR #3
Hello there,
How's your TBR coming along? Is it nearly empty, short, long, or out of control? Gonna be honest, mine's out of control but it doesn't stop me from buying more books that pique my interest. Anyhoo, aside from that, how about some free books to add to your TBR? And who doesn't love a free book or two?

What Helen Read #65: October 2021
Y'all, I'm so sorry. This post is late and I have no excuse. I usually
put the Monday posts together on Saturday or Sunday but we've been busy
and then on Sunday, I chilled and read a book. So yeah, I dropped the
ball on this one. My bad.
Here's what Helen read for the last month.

Book Quotes #11: November 2021
Time for some more book quotes. Tell me, do you highlight passages in the books you read? Passages that move you, hit you, make you laugh? I love that feature in my Kindle app, being able to highlight stuff that strike me as I'm reading. I don't highlight in every book but I do with most books. Those passages are so fun to look back upon.

What Deanna Read #69: October 2021
I don't know where the time has gone. I blinked and October was over.
It happened so fast. It's been a busy month with work and book stuff,
but still. Maybe it's just me getting old and time passing faster.
Things have opened up around us too so it means we've been out for a
few lunches. We finally had our first catch up with a friend over
lunch. It was lovely. The reading has been a bit slow. I've
not read as much as earlier in the year but I think I read a little
more in October than in September.
Here's what I read for the month.
