It's nothing like what you described #1

I'm in a great book group that is focused a lot of helping people find books they can't remember the name of. Anything from recent books they forgot to bookmark to books they read a long time ago that they want to read again but can't remember the title or author and need help. And I love this group. Usually, books get found super fast.

I think I note them down for more entertainment value rather than actually intending to read the books. Although some of them do sound interesting occasionally and I have found some good books I've read. These might not be for everyone, but hey, you never know. You might find something you enjoy. I feel like I need to put some kind of disclaimer in that these book recommendations come from other readers in book groups I'm in and they are not necessarily books I would recommend. A lot of times, I have not read those books being recommended, but boy, some of those requests are so zany that I'm very tickled by them or my jaw drops to the floor reading what other people want to read. These might not be for everyone, but hey, if you're open to sugeestions, you might find a new favorite book.

I'm in a few book groups and I tend to lurk. In these book groups, very often, a lot of people are asking for book recommendations. A lot of the times, I don't have a recommendation because a lot of the books being requested, I would not read, but now and then, I can contribute and occasionally, there are books I'm interested in reading based on the request. I thought it would be fun to share the book recommendation requests because they are so varied. And hey, you might find a new favorite book.
