Guest post: The end ... or maybe not? by Christina Phillips | New Release: Tainted (The Druid Chronicles #4)

Finally, the fourth book in The Druid Chronicles series. What a journey it has been! I hope you have enjoyed it as much as I have. I've thoroughly enjoyed having Christina visit the bloggity and also reading the books, which I am slowly making my way through. Don't you love Christina's writing?

I particularly loved Chrsitina's portrayal of all the women in the series so far. I'm looking forward to learning more about Antonia in thist story. I bet she's going to give Gawain a run for his money. :-)

Please give Christina a very warm welcome.

The end ... or maybe not?

A big thank you, Deanna, for having me back to help celebrate the release of the final (for now!) book in The Druid Chronicles. The heroes of the previous three books were all Roman, and in Tainted I wanted to mix things up. There was a Celt warrior, Gawain, who first appeared in book 1, Forbidden, and I had readers contact me asking when I was going to write his story. It took a while, but I knew he needed a very special heroine to help him heal from the past and I found her in the Roman noblewoman, Antonia.

Guest post: The Legend of the Moon Goddess Arianrhod by Christina Phillips | New Release: Enslaved (The Druid Chronicles #3)

Well, we are back in the world of druids, Roman soldiers and mysticism. This time, we mix in a little bit of mythology which makes my history loving heart positively giddy.

I tell you what, those gods and goddesses way back when. They sure did get into some sticky situations and raise some shenanigans that make our current parties and rabble-rousing seem tame. Take what happened with the Moon Goddess that Chrsitina tells us about below example.

I'll let Christina tell you the story though. It's fascinating!

Please give Christina a very warm welcome.

The Legend of the Moon Goddess Arianrhod

Deanna, thank you so much for having me back on your blog to help celebrate the (re)release of my third The Druid Chronicles romance, Enslaved.

The heroine of Enslaved is Nimue. She appeared right at the end of book 2, Captive, and as soon as she walked onto the page I knew I had to find out more about her! Funny how a minor character can suddenly take you over like that, and demand their story be told.

Guest post: Falling for the wrong man by Christina Phillips | New Release: Captive (The Druid Chronicles #2)

I'm excited to have Christina visit the bloggity again. She's decided she likes us and wants to come back. Ain't that grand? :-) I'm also delighted to be hosting Captive as it is given a refresh and is ready to conquer the world again. Conquer! Get it? Roman soldiers and all? Ugh! I suck a puns!

I really should put a lid on it now and let Christina take the floor or the blog rather. :-)

Please give Christina a very warm welcome.

Falling for the wrong man. It happened 2000 years ago too!

Thanks so much for having me back on Deanna’s World to chat about my latest release, Captive, the second book in The Druid Chronicles, set during the Roman invasion of Britain in the first century with sexy warriors and magical Druid heroines.

Now you may be wondering why I picked this unusual time period have I mentioned the hot sexy warriors? :-) Well, apart from the fact my heroes wield very big swords and have biceps that keep me awake at night (purely for research purposes of course), it was more a case of them picking me. And when a tough battle weary warrior demands you tell his story, you don’t say no. I think I might’ve said something like Yes! Yes! Please…

Massive Cover Reveal: Lily Harlem

Hello, hello. Today is usually a "What's new on my bookshelf" post and I know we all love to see all those pretty book covers, but I have something very special for you instead. You still get a whole heap of pretty book covers but they are all for Lily Harlem's new re-releases.

I'll leave it to Lily to tell you all about it, but she's recently got rights back to a lot of her books from a "certain" publisher and she's re-releasing the books, some on her own and some with new publishers. I'm super excited for Lily.

Please remember these are all previously published books.

Now I'll leave you to drool over these gorgeous covers.

Please give Lily a very warm welcome.

Guest post: Taking off my rose tinted glasses by Christina Phillips | New Release: Forbidden (The Druid Chronicles #1)

Back in the day, I read Forbidden when erotic romance was first coming on the scene and  Forbidden was being marketed as an erotic romance. I liked the premise of the druid priestess and the Roman soldier having been a history buff all my life. Christina managed to hit a sweet spot for me, combining my love of druids and all things Roman soldier-ey and romance and throw in a little bit of magic and mysticism. Can you say "yes please"?

So when Christina contacted me and asked if I would host the re-release of her books on the bloggity because she got her rights back from her previous publishers, I happily agreed.

Please give Christina a very warm welcome.

Taking off my rose tinted glasses and getting ready for re-release

Thanks so much for having me on your blog today, Deanna! I’m so excited that finally, six years after it was first released, my ancient historical romance, Forbidden, is back out in the world. :-)

Forbidden will always have a special place in my heart as it’s the first full length romance I had published. It was also the first historical romance I’d ever tried writing with the aim of publication—I’d previously been aiming at Harlequin Mills and Boon with category romances.

I was also beyond thrilled to be with my dream publisher, and in my rose coloured world I thought the biggest hurdles were behind me.

Ha ha!

Review: Sera's Dragon (Fire Mate #1) by Lexxie Couper (updated)

Updated review - book has been re-released by the author. You can find my original review here. Note: the only thing changed in this review are the book title, book cover and buy links. My review remains the same as it is the same story.

Book cover Sera's Dragon (Fire Mate #1) previously Ty the Sexy Dragon by Lexxie Couper
Purchase link: Amazon

My rating: star starstar

Heat rating: Flame  Flame  Flame  Flame

Finding your fire mate is easy. Convincing your fire mate she is fated to be yours...not so much! Soar with the dragons of Australia in Sera's Dragon from awarding winning erotic paranormal romance author Lexxie Couper. Book 1 of her Fire Mates series will keep you turning the pages of this contemporary paranormal suspense.

Life isn't easy for a modern-day dragon shifter. Unlike those wuss werewolves, dragons can't just shift and go for a run through the nearest forest. They can't go flying on a whim. Forget about scared villagers slinging arrows; these days it's Neighborhood Watch zealots with AK-47s. Then there's the whole sex issue. Try telling the little cutie at the local Starbucks that a soul-shattering orgasm might end in bed flambé. No, being a dragon shifter kinda sucks. And for Tyson, it's even worse--because he's suddenly in heat.

Bad news for the stranger he spies running along Bondi Beach.

Ty instantly recognizes Sera as his mate. Now he has to convince her, while also dodging the psychopathic dragon hunter on his tail. Scorching sexual persuasion should do the trick. Hopefully. Because if Ty doesn't join with his Fire Mate before his heat cycle finishes, bad things will happen. Lots of bad things.

Content Notes: This erotic paranormal suspense romance contains dragon shapeshifters and is intended for readers over the age of 18.

Praise for A Taste of London:

“With characters that were crafted with a great deal of fullness in this short read, Lucy Felthouse has managed to capture an intriguing series of sexual interludes that alternate between steamy and naughty with a dash of daring and bravado for effect… Funnily enough, the late-teen early twenty year old male voice was incredibly strong and finely honed, making this book a real treat with an interesting voice and perspective.” 5 out of 5, The Jeep Diva

Ryan Stonebridge and his friend Kristian Hurst have travelled to London and Paris on their “gap year” adventure, before starting university. Now it’s on to Rome.

The American girls they met in Paris are along for the ride, providing lots of sexy fun for the boys. But as no one in the foursome is looking for commitment, there’s still plenty of scope for hooking up with the locals. Voyeurism, cougars, risky outdoor sex and threesomes abound in the Italian leg of the boys’ European adventure.
