Taking a break from reading

Guy taking a break

Oh no! I do not mean that I've stopped reading. Was that what you thought when you saw that I said I was taking a break from reading from the post title. Sorry to mislead, I'm mean more specifically while I'm reading, although, I do take a breather between books now and then.

Adding to the TBR #6

Free books

Hello there,

How's your TBR coming along? Is it nearly empty, short, long, or out of control? Gonna be honest, mine's out of control but it doesn't stop me from buying more books that pique my interest. Anyhoo, aside from that, how about some free books to add to your TBR? And who doesn't love a free book or two?

Let's chat and what I'm reading now #6

Woman with coffee on phone

Hello! Guess what? I'm a bit more organised right now and I'm getting to this post with a little bit of time to spare. Not the last minute thing I usually do. Go me! Before I get into the post, I'd like to drop a little reminder that if you'd like to get a newsletter with each post as they go up, you can sign up here.

What Helen Read #68: January 2022

I'm putting this together and reading what I read before. Guess what, we did the exact same thing. We went to the pub for Sunday Roast. The only difference this time was it was lamb roast instead of pork roast and I remembered to order extra gravy because gravy is all that. Gravy on roast potatoes with salt is delicious. We had a wonderful lunch but glad we went early because the pub got pretty busy just as we were finishing. And now I'm home putting this together. Hope you had a good weekend.

Here's what Helen read for the last month.

What Deanna Read #72: January 2022

Okay, don't let the number of books I read in January fool you. A bunch of them were carried over from December where I went into this weird reading frenzy and read a lot of books for the month, but I stopped counting them in December because I was being weird and specifically wanted to end 2021 with exactly 365 books read. I doubt I will be doing that again this year. It was fun to do once.

Here's what I read for the month.

Observations on bookish things #1

Observations on bookish things

I quite often have observations of what's going on in the romance book space and the romance publishing industry. They are often small things that don't amount to a full post or anything particularly substantial so I tend not to talk about them. Then I thought, what about if I just pull a bunch of them together and see what comes of it? So here you go. My observation on bookish things. PS. Not sure how often I'll post these. It will depend on how much I see that is worth a comment on. Might be a lot. I have an opinion on a lot of things. 😛
