It's a decent reading month but a lot of it was pretty short. I was on an Alexa Riley and Jessa Kane binge and read a lot of books from their back list. Those were awesome if you like hot and steamy. Hooo!!! Very steamy. 🔥🔥🔥 If I had to pick favorites of the ones I read, they would be Dirty Uncle by Alexa Riley and Wearing Him Down by Jessa Kane. Honorable mention to Her 2 Protectors by Jessa Kane because that got me into a firefighter kick and I'm still on that and looking for books of that ilk.
Speaking of firefighters, Torch by Cambria Hebert was excellent. This book hit all the things I wanted in a firefighter romance. I've read a previous book of hers, Text, which I really enjoyed too.
Of course, I can't go without mentioning Wolf by Anna Hackett. It's a brand new book in a brand new romantic suspense series called Sentinel Security featuring characters who have appeared in her Norcross Security series. This one is set in New York.
And finally, what's a month of reading without my ongoing obsession with Cassie Mint? Take Me Home is the favorite for the month. So much heart and emotion, but also longing and desire. Cassie Mint always gives me all the feels.
