Video book reviews: Maddie Wade, Layne Daniels, and Elena Dawne

TikTok book reviews

Well, what did you think of my video book reviews? Did you enjoy them? Be kind to me. I'm still new at this. Here are a few more for your viewing pleasure. I'm still having tons of fun making them. The music is my favorite part. Feel free to tell me how much you love the music too. 😛 😛 😛

Oh, also, this is also a bonus video for the week because I'm a bit OCD and I'm trying to catch up with sharing my video books reviews with you so that at some point I'm up to date and you get to see all the new ones. Kind of. Plus I'm kinda having fun with these posts.

First off for today is Guarding Salvation by Maddie Wade. Ms Wade has long been a favorite author of mine. I enjoy her romantic suspense a great deal. She's more romance than suspense but she has great charactrs and wonderful stories. This is the start of a new series for her called Shadow Elite. A secret organization filled with the most dangerous men and women who work behind the scenes to deal with things that cannot see the light of day. Also, I admit, the music choice for this one was not my best. Again, still learning.

Next is Vanished In Denver by Layne Daniels. A short, quick mafia romance. It's part of a multi-author series but I haven't read any of the other books in the series yet. I plan to at some point but there are so many other books distracting me. I think the song choice is quite appropriate for this one. The heroine is very sassy and very feisty. That's how she got the hero's attention.

Finally, Her Mountain Man Beast by Elane Dawne. I have a thing for mountain men, so, yes please! This one promised to be very hot and spicy. I did enjoy the whole grumpy and sunshine vibe going on. The heroine certainly was not shy about knowing what she wanted. Lots of jiggy jiggy going on once the hero decided to stake his claim. On the song choice, I was looking for something sweet but peppy. This song being back all the nostalgic feels.

Well, that's it. A little start into a new way of doing book reviews for me. I hope you enjoy them. There will be more to come. What have you read recently that you've loved?

  1. I think the video book reviews is a super idea and much easier to digest than a written column doing the same thing. Well done!

    1. They are fun to do too, but I think a lot of people are just less patient with wanting to read a lengthy review rather than something short and snappy. TikTok is a great medium for that and still be creative.
