What Deanna Read #30: July 2018

Hey, guess what? I read more books this month than last month ... by ONE book. LOL. I read three books this month and I'm about halfway through another book but I don't think I'll get it done before the month is out since the only reading time I have now is on the weekends and even then I don't have a lot of time. If I want to be very nit-picky, I could say I've read three and a half books. :-) It makes me a bit sad but at the same time, I'm so tired and so brain-dead, there's not much energy to put into reading either. But still, three books this month even if one of them was a DNF. I don't care, I'm counting it.

Here's what I read for the month.

Aside from the one DNF which was just plain old weird and I couldn't quite get into, and then I lost interest, but the other two books I read were good. Both from series I have been reading and enjoying, and so was looking forward to them.

Arctic Fire was highly anticipated because I was a huge fan of the hero. He has been a favorite in the series for me since the moment I met him in one of the previous books, all mysterious, dangerous, and slightly on the edge of bad. The book didn't disappoint. I loved Kanan every bit as much as I thought I would.

And Marriage Lessons was also another highly anticipated read. I'd been waiting for Louis's story since he was mentioned. I had no idea what he would be like but I was loving the series and after reading the second book, I was ready for more. And let me tell you, Louis is a delightful hero. It was so easy to fall in love with him. The book was delightful and fun.

That's it from me. What did you read for this last month? Do leave a comment and let me know.

And stay tuned for Helen's reading list for the month too.
