I've also got a new author client that's super fun, and while we're not doing much promo right now, if you enjoy audiobooks, her stories are all straight-to-audio, and free to listen on my YouTube channel as I'm producing and hosting them for her. It's been a real learning experience, but do go check her out. Her stories are super sweet and fun.
Here's what I read for the last month.

Only one book read less than the previous month. Some were pretty long books, actually. Some comfort reads (Cassie Mint) and favorite authors (Anna Hackett, Jayne Ann Krentz), and I tried a few things that were okay, some were not great.
I would say that I was in some kind of a mood because I binged quite a few of the Daddy MC series books by Laylah Roberts, and they were all great. I wanted to read tough, protective men, I guess.
Hex by Anna Hackett was an awesome end to the series, and ooh, Shade was 🔥🔥🔥. Of course, Ms Hackett has been teasing visuals of her character inspiration for Shade and well, he's a hunky one.
And probably the best book I read for the month, and the best book I've ever read by Ms Krentz was Secret Sisters. I had Steve read the book too and he LOVED it. In fact, every couple of pages and he'd stop and rave about how incredible a writer Ms Krentz is. If you've not read anything by her, this is a great place to start. Fantastic suspense, a great mystery, wonderful heroine, and a mysterious, dashing hero.
That's it from me. Hopefully, I'll be a bit more on time with next month's post. Between work and health, life has been kicking my butt.
Stay tuned for what Helen read too.

Glad you're feeling a bit better. Another great reading month. And a few from the TBR pile. That JAK looks good. I have it in my kindle since 2015. Unread. Yikes. I've moved it up so hopefully in August. And yes, I loved Hex.

Wow! You're quick. I don't think the newsletter goes out until tomorrow morning.
DeleteYou need to read that JAK book. SO good.
I've been listening to Kaylea Cross on audio. I'm slow as I only listen while I cook lunch and quite often Steve comes in to interrupt me or he'll chat with me while he's washing up and I'm cooking, so then I turn the audio off.
I need to catch up on Toni Anderson. I enjoy her books.
Yes, I check the web site fairly regularly. And the list is maintained as I read them, on a document for my own reference, so I just copy and paste.

I'm hoping to get back into more regular blogging. I'm starting to feel better and I think most of the brain fog is lifting. I appreciate you hanging in here with me.
