What Helen Read #66: November 2021

It's Sunday as I'm putting this together and I've had a lovely day so far. My parents stopped by to visit and my dad had a craving for a really good burger so we took him to our favorite local pub for a burger. He loves the burgers there and they do fantastic burgers. They do this mini challenge burger which is GIGANTIC and he and mum shared it. We still had lots of chips and wedges to bring home for another meal. For a starter, I ordered their sweet chilli and cheese bread. Our first time trying it and wow! Delicious! What did you do on your Sunday?

Here's what Helen read for the last month.

Helen always has a fabulous reading month. Let's see what stood out for her.

I had a really good month of reading and a mixture of genres as well stands outs. It will be hard to choose, let me try...

Lots of fabulous romances this month and I cannot not mention Kelly Hunter’s Must Love Christmas. Wow! It was a gorgeous story. Snow, Christmas time, a ranch. It's a must read. Mel A Rowe had another release in The Elsie Creek series which was emotional and maybe the best one yet, then Annie West, Pippa Roscoe and Melanie Milburne all had new Harlequin Presents released and they were fabulous. I have to mention Trish Morey’s A Baby For The Billionaire was a fabulous story as well.

I also read some exciting mystery/thrillers. Garry Disher is a new to me author. I loved The Way It Is Now and Sarah Barrie’s newest Unforgiven is a page turner. I think it is her best yet. Another new to me author, Karen Oden took me back to 1878 for a murder mystery that had me turning the pages.

I could keep going and mention them all honestly this month all of them were good. Karly Lane’s newest is heartwarming and heart-wrenching at the same time, and Tricia Stringer never disappoints.

Have fun, Helen.
