Cain arrives as the situation with Whiteriver comes to a climax. But when the dust settles, what will become of Snow?

While Taylor and Hale are developing an intense chemistry, it’s difficult for her to overlook the fact that he seems disinterested in her pregnancy.

This is an ongoing story. It is not a standalone.
It is intended for readers 18+ and comfortable with ménage romance & profanity.
All entries are free with Kindle Unlimited.

I guess I should start by saying that this is not a standalone, so if you haven't read #1 thru #6, you need to go back and read them first. The stories, because this is a serial, build on one another, though there is a tiny amount of recapping in the beginning of each story, but very tiny.

At this point in the story, things have been resolved with Snow and Taylor is back to worrying about her pregnancy and her relationship with her mates.

I understand what is going on between how the story is unfolding and all the drama that is going on in Taylor's life, the war, etc., but I wish there was more time spent on the relationship between Hale, Alder and Taylor. I want to explore the emotion surrounding the relationship and  find out more about Hale's feelings, Taylor's feelings as she works out loving two men and Alder's feelings as he takes on the role of father and having to share Taylor with Hale.

I guess it's the nature of the serial, but because each installment is so short, they inevitably leave you hanging out for the next part which can't come fast enough and wanting more from the one you're presently reading.

It was also lovely to see some of the characters from other series making an appearance. Cain, Sarah, Caim and Snow. It was great to learn a little bit more about them and to see how they were doing after end of the previous series.

I'm really enjoying this story as a whole and I'm glad I didn't have to wait from starting #1 to getting to #7 as they were all out already. Now I am waiting impatiently for #8. I can't wait to find out what happens next.

I also don't know if #8 is the conclusion of this serial or if it will go on for a few more parts. I can't really tell from the way the story is building, but it could go either way. I'm just impatient to get to the point of resolution of the relationship between the three of them.

  1. I wish someone knew what happened to this author. Like last I heard she moved to another country or something like that and she never ended up finishing any of her series.

    1. I know what you mean. I loved her books. I heard that she had children and gave up writing. But yeah, nothing new from her in a very long time. I don't even know if her old books are still on Amazon or not.
