Video portfolio #3: The Highland Earl's Revenge by Cathleen Ross | Same video formatted for Facebook, Instagram and TikTok

Video portfolio

The videos have been cranking away and I'm thrilled that my clients are enjoying what I make for them. Aside from TikTok videos, I am also making videos for different social media platforms for clients who do not use TikTok. Here are some examples of videos I've made for various different platforms. Do still check out my TikTok account  there are lots of different videos there. There are also videos on my YouTube channel so check that out too.

Live author interview replay: Steve Shipley and Walt Mussell

Author interview

Okay, I've been a bit slack on this front, posting up my live author interviews on the bloggity so it's easy for people who are interested to access. That said, they are all on my Deanna's World YouTube channel so you can always go look there.

Going live on video for the first time and OMG! Here... watch the replays

TikTok live

I'm on this very steep learning curve with it comes to TikTok and marketing my author services, etc., while still trying to have fun. It's a trip, y'all. For the most part I've managed to now show my face in videos because I'm kinda shy like that. I don't even know why that's the case since I had a YouTube video for years and every video showed my face on it. But y'all, that's gone straight out the window because when I hit 1000 followers, I got the live feature unlocked and was able to do live videos. Then I proceeded to experiment and make a complete fool of myself on live TikTok.

What Helen Read #71: April 2022

Surprisingly, things are rather calm right now. I'm grateful for it though yesterday was busy and well, the last month has been busy. I'm kinda glad I am feeling somewhat caught up, plus I've been rather diligently setting up a to-do list and checking it off daily. That has really helped. How was your April?

Here's what Helen read for the last month.

Let's watch some fun bookish videos together #1

Watching fun TikTok videos

Y'all, things have been crazy with work. I've been so busy and trying to maintain all the social media platforms. Oof! I'mnot complaining though because I've started taking the whole author services part of my day job a lot more seriously. Not that I've not been serious before but I hadn't put much effort into marketing it and with Steve's encouragement, I've started doing that. That's been a bit of a learning curve but I'm enjoying it. Plus, new clients. Yay!

What Deanna Read #75: April 2022

Dang! This month came around quickly. I've been super busy with work which is a good thing but it means I have not been able to read as much. I'm not sure how much I've read to be honest as I haven't checked. Doesn't feel like much though I haven't been sleeping well so I've stayed up late reading a fair bit too. So who knows??? We shall see...

Oh, in other news, I reached 1000 followers on TikTok. Go enter my celebration giveaway.

Also, not that it matters to you guys, but it makes my life easier. Amazon have done something with their images so I can use them in my posts again which halves the amount of work I need to do for them. Yay!!

Here's what I read for the month.

1000 TikTok followers giveaway

TikTok 1000 follower giveaway

Greetings! I'm here to celebrate a milestone of gaining 1000 followers on TikTok. In the TikTok world, this is both small potatoes and a big deal. Small potatoes because, let's face it, lots of bigger accounts with more followers out there. Big deal because I can finally post a link to my profile bio so people can find me. So this is me saying thank you to everyone who has supported me. And this is not limited to those who follow me on TikTok either.

Oops! So sorry....

Y'all, I'm so sorry for the test post. I didn't realise blogger was going to be so efficient and immediately send out the email newsletter with the post. I didn't intend for it to get distributed. I deleted it right away. Argh!
