What Helen Read #51: August 2020

We almost didn't get a post from Helen this month since she had a stint back in hospital. So happy she is home again and on the mend. Still a ways to go but we are wishing her all the best and a speedy recovery. Let's hope she improves enough to read a lot more books which she loves doing.

Here's what Helen read for the last month.

Helen always has a fab reading month. Let's see what stood out for her ...

Another small list this month as I had another trip to hospital, but back home now and hopefully no more trips to hospital and lots more reading for next month.

I have to mention Kali Anthony’s debut book Revelations of His Runaway Bride. It was so good filled with tension and emotion. It's one that I highly recommend.

Annie West’s newest Claiming His Out-of-Bounds Bride was another hit. She never disappoints me with her stories.

There were a few women’s fiction stories this month and I would highly recommend all of them. Victoria Purman’s The Women's Pages was a great story about a journalist and the end of World War II, and yes, there is a romance throughout.

Fiona Palmer is another fabulous author who spins a fabulous tale and Tiny White Lies is a must read.

The Cake Maker's Wish is my first book by Josephine Moon and it was so good with so many beautiful cakes and an awesome story. I will be reading more of her books.

Phillipa Nefri Clark has written a crime mystery fiction that ticks all of the boxes with Last Known Contact. The suspense and tension had me turning the pages and it had such a great ending one. I highly recommend it.

Have Fun, Helen.

Well, here's what Helen read. What do you think? Did you read any of the same books? What did you read this month? Tell us below.
