Here's what Helen read for the last month.
Helen always has a fabulous reading month. Let's see what stood out for her.
I read quite a few women’s fiction books this month but they all pretty much have a romance thread running through them and they bring to life problems that are faced by people in everyday life and were page turners for me.
Fiona Lowe’s A Home Like Ours was fabulous. The Last Reunion by Kayte Nunn was a dual timeline between World War II and now this takes in women known as Wasbies women who were on the front line in Burma and serving the troops from mobile canteens. I loved it. The French Gift by Kirsty Manning is another dual timeline between now and World War II set in France taking Resistance Fighters and the labour camps run by the Germans. Another trip to World War II with Alli Sinclair’s The Codebreakers tells us the story of Aussie woman breaking codes to help win the war.
I also read some fabulous Harlequin Mills & Boon stories which for me are just what I need to lift me up. Kandy Shepherd’s From Bridal Designer To Bride is a beautiful story, Susan Carlisle’s Reunited With Her Daredevil Doc is a great second chance romance and Melanie Milburne's One Hot New York Night and Pippa Roscoe's Terms Of Their Costa Rican Temptation never disappoint with their one of their Modern/Presents stories.
A few of fabulous romantic suspense stories. One from Sarah Barrie with Deadman's Track and Annie Seaton’s newest Hidden Valley both were page turners edge of your seat stories.
I have to mention Ella Carey’s newest a historical set during World War II called A New York Secret set around the food centre of New York. I loved this one. Stefanie London took me to the beach for a beautiful fun romance with Her Aussie Holiday and Hayson Manning has a new book with Bound To Her Fake Fiance Boss which is sexy, sensual, and moving.

There are so many great stories in this list and I have to say Ava January's Lady Detective was such a great read as well, a new to me author and I will be hoping to see a lot more from this author :)
