Not a huge month, but decent. A lot of short books though because that was all I could cope with. That said, there were some really awesome books.
Obviously, I binged Cassie Mint because she's become my comfort read. Whenever I get too tired or I'm stressed, her books make me feel good. I know what to expect, how she will make me feel, and I'm totally okay with that. Also, I went back and counted and I read 17 of her books this month. It's been a hell of a month and I needed a lot of comfort and warm fuzzies.
The Protector by Anna Hackett ends the Norcross Security series and it was amazing. Loved the introduction to the new Sentinel Security series and boy, I think I'm already obsessed with Killian Hawke.
As always, Ms Joyce always delivers, this time with The Blood of Promise with her usual trademark humor and sass, along with awesome characters. Her books make me feel good too so I think I'm going to need to get back to going through her backlist.
Finally, Bull by Deborah Bladon. A new to me author and an amazing book. There was a great twist at the end with the black moment I was not expecting. Awesome. I will be reading more of her.

Oh yes, definitely looking forward to Sentinel Security. Killian Hawke was so awesome in The Protector. I think I have a new Anna Hackett book boyfriend obsession.
