Going on holiday, back soon

Hello fellow bloggity members, greetings from sunny Singapore.

I'm hopping in to let you know that I am going to be away for the next six weeks on a combined work and holiday trip.

We start off our journey in Singapore where we are attending a conference and Steve, Mr Manview himself, is the keynore speaker at a conference. Lots of meetings and conferencey stuff plus catching up with some friends and family.

After that we hie off to London to visit my sister and her family, a few author friends, some business meetings, and also a research trip to Scotland where we will be visiting a number of whisky distilleries for Mr Manview to research his next book. He's started writing it already and I'm very excited about it. If you're into drinking whisky, you're going to love his next book.

And finally, after all that work stuff it's time for a little holiday and we're stopping in Hawaii for a proper holiday. It will be our first holiday in forever. We've never actually been on a trip that is a pure holiday before even though we've traveled a great deal over the years but it's always been from work. I can't tell you how excited I am about this. I even bought a new pair of flip flops to wear on the beach.

I'll try to post as regulary as I can and stick to my usual schedule of one post a week on the Monday but I might miss the odd one here or there. If I do, please forgive me. I did try to do as much of it in advance as I could.
