A few more books read last month. There were some duds in there, so there's that. But generally, a lot of comfort reads and getting through a giant TBR.
I'm still reading a lot of Laylah Roberts. She's a comfort read for me. It's a menopause thing, I think. The men in her books are super protective and caring, and I'm thinking I need that feeling when I read right now. So I glommed a lot of her books.
Anna Hackett kicked off a new contemporary romance series and of course, I was all over that. I love her books and I think Dante Fury is a new favorite book boyfriend. I would not kick him out of bed.
Oh, and I discovered a new-to-me author who has been sitting in my TBR for ages. What took me so long? I've been enjoying her books. Werewolf SWAT members. What's not to like? I thoroughly enjoyed Hungry Like The Wolf and Wolf Trouble. I need to dive back into the series and read more of the books.
That's it from me. What did you read in September?
Stay tuned for what Helen read too. It's coming. I promise, I will get to it... I know I said that last month too, but I'm getting there...

Hey Helen, so glad you had a great reading month. Isn't it wonderful when that happens?

ReplyDeleteThe heroine made me 🙄🙄🙄 so much. It was okay. I didn't love it the way I loved Nero.
DeleteAnother good month. I might just reach my target of 200 books. October will probably be a slow reading month though, due to real travelling, ryanair permitting

That's an excellent list of books read. Did you enjoy Fury? The new Anna Hackett. What did you think of the new first person point of view style?
DeleteAre you off to Beni soon then?
Yes, I loved Fury. I don't really have a preference for POV. Just that it's well written. Which it was. Yes, off to Benidorm on the 15th
