TikTok is driving me mad but hey, I had a video go nuts on the views this morning, so I guess I can't complain about that. It's such a simple video too, so I don't even know why it's taken off. I will never understand TikTok.You can watch it here.
Anyway, enough blathering.
Here's what I read for the month.
Yep, definitely a much shorter month. I didn't read nearly as much as I had hoped, but hey, some reading is better than no reading, yes?
Let's start off with Anna Hackett, shall we? I read Captain of the Guard and it was glorious. I loved it so much, but that's to be expected because I'm king of an Anna Hackett fan. I really enjoy her books. I also love it when she adds pets into the story and this one with the alien puppy was hella cute. I even made a TikTok book review video of it, so you can watch it here.

I read A LOT of Cassie Mint this month. I'm lucky she releases books so frequently even though her books are super short. I guess I needed a bunch of comfort reads since the month was stressful with work and some other things going on. Pit Stop, Thin Ice, Dared By My Roommate, Fake Fiance, Mail Order Vow. All fantastic.
A new to me author and another fantastic book. This one was recommended around the traps and it interested me. It's been sitting in my TBR for ages and I finally got to it. Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. Oh, and the book I'm referring to is River Wild by Samantha Towle.
I'm fast becoming a fan of Nikki Ash and I read Only Ever Yours last month. It's the escort trope which I'm not crazy about, but the hero realises she's it even when she's pretending to be an escort to help her friend out and is determined to have her. I loved it.
Finally, In Trouble by Hannah Haze. I love sweet omegaverse and reverse harem, and Ms Haze does this combo particularly well. Yum.
And here's that crazy video that's done so well on TikTok. I do not even know why.

It's so strange that Blogger won't let you post long comments. I've never experienced it before. Are you doing it from your phone or the computer?

I'm so glad you loved Captain of the Guard. It was such a great story and Anna Hackett can take a trope I'm not crazy about and make it great. Annora is such an amazing character.
DeleteWell, that was weird. It wouldn't let me post on the mobile site, but let me when I switched to desktop site
ReplyDeleteHuh, interesting. I've never been able to post a comment from either my iPad or my iPhone. I always wait to do it from my computer because that's what seems to work best. It's weird.
DeleteI'm posting on my android phone. It always used to work. Think blogger has changed something
DeleteI think they did change something because the comment section looks different at the bottom of the post now. I do not know what they changed though. They didn't send me anything to tell me about it.
