What Helen Read #27: June 2018

I'm late, y'all!! So late!! This post was meant to have gone up last week, but alas! it did not happen. Work got the better of me and then when the weekend came, I was in a bit of a mood because I was so exhausted, so I didn't do much. Finally got off my behind and put this together on Sunday. Very late!!!

Anyway, enough of my lamenting, didn't Helen have a great month in June. Looks like she read some fantastic books.

Here's what Helen read for the last month.

Helen always has a fab reading month. Let's see what stood out for her ...

Where do I start? This month! There are so many greats stories on this list finding a stand out or two might be a problem, but here we go...

I have to say firstly that the first two books in the Outback Brides series from Tule, Maggie's Run by Kelly Hunter and Belle's Secret by Victoria Purman are just fantastic and not to be missed. I am looking forward to the last two in this series.

I read some awesome womens' fiction this month with Burning Fields by Ali Sinclair, In The Valley Of The Blue Gums by J H Fletcher, The Kookaburra Creek Cafe by Sandie Docker and The Peacock Summer by Hannah Richell. It would be hard to pick a favourite from these as they are all compelling and moving stories that I highly recommend.

I also read some great historicals from Sasha Cottman with Lord of Mischief and Cassandra Samuels with Collector of Hearts. They both of these had me smiling.

Jacquie Underdown continued her fabulous series set in country Victoria. The Sweetest Secret was moving and very sensual and Ainslie Paton never disappoints me with her stories in One Night Wife.

And of course some fabulous Harlequin stories in there as well. Annie West with Inherited For The Royal Bed is an auto-buy for me and there is a reason her books are always fabulous, but I loved all of them that I read.

So another awesome reading month and I would highly recommend any of these books on my list.

Well, here's what Helen read. What do you think? Did you read any of the same books? What did you read this month? Tell us below.
