Tuesday Teaser: The Charmer by C J Archer

Welcome to another Tuesday Teaser.

For today's book, I'm featuring The Charmer by C J Archer. The reason? I like the cover (yes, I'm shallow like that), plus the blurb sounds interesting. I like the idea of assassins finding love. The whole concept of an assassin fascinates me as it must take a certain type of person to be able to do the job. How does he sleep at night? What does he tell his loved ones he does for work? What's he like when he goes to the family BBQ?

I have this image in my head that an assassin needs to look dark and broody. Sort of like this bloke over here. Couldn't you totally see him as a historical romance assassin hero?

C.J. Archer has loved history and books for as long as she can remember. She worked as a librarian and technical writer until she was able to channel her twin loves by writing historical fiction.
