Wow! Short, sharp and hot. There's really all there is to it. This is a short story after all.

Zara's father was a very naughty man. He stole from King. Now, Logan's come to get his money back and Zara has to figure out a way to pay him.

Well, how she pays him is really no surprise is there? It's sexy and it's hot. Just like King. And King, well, I love him. He's exactly the kind of alpha hero I love. Big, strong, dominating, in control and growly. Yeah, he's definite swoonworthy material.

I think this is part of a series of short stories but I'm not sure. If it is, I'm looking forward to the next one.



King's Property (Shifter Fight League #2)
I am enjoying the story of Zara and King, and seeing how it unfolds.

King is all growly, dominating and possessive, and while I love that in an alpha hero, I'm not sure I'd like to live with a guy like that. Zara too has a moment when she's not all that keen on his possessiveness and how it's been interpreted by others. That said, Zara does end up pretty much convinced that King can have her any which way he wants. And why not? He's super sexy.

I like Zara a lot. I like that she's feisty and she stands up for herself. She probably has a thing or two to learn about herself too since there seems to be more to her than meets the eye. We get little hints of who or what she could be and I look forward to finding out.

I still love King, growly, dominating alpha-hole and all. He's unapologetic. I love that in an alpha hero. It's a confidence and power thing, I think. I'm highly attracted to both, just ask my Steve. Confidence and power is sexy.

Because these are so short, they are a quick, easy read. I'd be a lot happier if I had the whole series together and being able to glom it all. The waiting in between books is going to be frustrating.

I'm looking forward to the next installment in this series though. I wonder if there's any way I can get Ms Carter to write faster?

Mina was born and raised in the East Farthing of Middle Earth (otherwise known as the Midlands, England) and spend her childhood learning all the sorts of things generally required of a professional adventurer. Able to ride, box, shoot, make and read maps, make chainmail and use a broadsword (with varying degrees of efficiency) she was disgusted to find that adventuring is not considered a suitable occupation these days.
