What Deanna Read #80: September 2022

Kinda doing the last minute thing again, not that you'll notice since this will go up on time. It's me that's all over the place and behind. I've got two hours till my self-imposed deadline. I haven't read much in the month of September. There's been a bit of work while away on the trip, a lot of looking after Steve's mom and doing stuff for her. Y'all, I feel like I'm constantly tired. I need a better pillow and I miss my own pillow because I'm old like that. LOL. Hope you guys had a great September and read some great books.

Here's what I read for the month.

Hmmm... not many books at all. I've just been distracted and disconnected the last month. Sadness. Hopefully, I'll read more in October.

Since I didn't read much in September, there are not a lot of books to shout out, but there were a few.

Of course, Cassie Mint. His Muse was a brilliant, steamy, sweet romance filled with longing and pining with a rather stalkery hero. Note: stalkers are only sexy in romance. In real life, they are creepy.

Amanda Quick knocked it out of the park with her new historical When She Dreams. It's such a delightful story, and I loved the way she had the hero and heroine dancing around each other as they size each other up, trying to decide if they want to be partners or lovers. Absolutely wonderful. I was smiling the whole time while I read it.

Finally, Anna Hackett released the next book in her new Sentinel Security series. Loved Hades. Matteo is such a delightful, charming hero with a side order of deadly badass. Gabbi is wonderful too. Sweet, sassy, brave, a little awkward, but strong and kickass in her own way. I love the way Ms Hackett portrays her heroines.

That's it from me. What did you read this last month? Do leave a comment and let me know.

Stay tuned for what Helen read too.

    1. You did great for your September. Mind you, I didn't count the Hades Epilogue as one book. You've got a few on your list that I'm planning to read at some point.

    2. I know the epiligues of books are usually short, like 5 pages! But every little helps. They make up the numbers on my spreadsheet at least!

  2. Ah yes, there were a few really good ones in the mix. I'm always happy when my favorite authors release new books too.
