What Helen Read #67: December 2021

Another Sunday and we were at the local pub for a Sunday roast. I do love a Sunday roast and this was roast pork. Yummy. I keep thinking I need to get my act together and be more prepared for my Monday post, but for some reason I procrastinate till the last minute, so here I am, after a yummy lunch and thinking I'd rather have a nap. LOL. What are you doing on your Sunday?

Here's what Helen read for the last month.

Helen always has a fabulous reading month. Let's see what stood out for her.

I read a few Christmas stories in December which I love doing, and I must say that I did thoroughly enjoy them all. Stefanie London’s A Merry Aussie Christmas was such a gorgeous story set in a beachside town.

Fiona McIntosh’s The Spy's Wife was a page turner of a story set just before WW11 and is filled with suspense and a love so strong.

For thrillers, I read Jack Heath’s Kill Your Brother and wow, it was my first book from this author but it won’t be my last.

Sasha Cottman released another in her Dukes of Strathmore series with A Lady's Heart Deceived  and I devoured it. Darry Fraser’s newest The Prodigal Sister is an Australian historical and a great read too.

I did love all of the books I read in December and I would recommend them all depending on what type of story you are looking for and I could keep listing them but I will stop now. 😊

Happy New Year to you all, lets hope it is a better one.

Have fun, Helen.

    1. This is true. There are always more books than time to read them all.
