Rebranding books. When is it too much?

Girl holding pile of books

Over the years, I've seen a lot of books come and go. Rights get reverted, books get taken down by publishers, authors choose to rerelease the books or not. Indie authors choose to stop publishing or decide to pull current books from circulation and sale. There are lots of reasons for books' availability dropping off. What about books that get rebranded and are available for sale again?

Books I have not finished 2021 #1

I'm back with some DNF reviews. With the blog and reviewing books, I try a lot of new authors and books and sometimes they just don't work. Plus I'm in a lot of book groups and books get recommended frequently in them. Sadly, I am finding that my taste in books is quite conservative and I tend not to like what seems to be really popular and get recommended a lot.

So without much further ado, here's some books I have not finished recently.

Book quotes #5: April 2021

Passion led us here

I can't believe this month has gone so fast, but I think I say that every month. It's already time for another book quotes and boy, I had so many to choose from. These authors we read are so clever, arent' they? I always find something significant, or moving, or funny to highlight. I hope you enjoy today's offerings.

Reading a good book is like drinking good wine

Book wine and candles

Reading a good book is like drinking good wine. At least, in my opinion, it is. What does reading have to do with drinking wine, you ask? Let me explain.

What Deanna Read #62: March 2021

Hey there! How are you going? It's April already and time to recap what I read in March. What??? It's been a bit of a bingey month. Correction, it's been a lot of a bingey month. I read a lot of TS Joyce and Jessa Kane. I'm kind of addicted to TS Joyce's books, her writing style, and her stories. Soooo good. There was a little bit of Madison Faye and Melanie Moreland thrown in too. That's been pretty much my month. I did try to branch out a little bit but that didn't last long. I'm in the kind of mood right now where I'm falling back into authors I love knowing that I'd enjoy what I'm going to read.

That's it from me. I hope everyone is well. My thoughts are with you all. Stay safe.

Here's what I read for the month.

Reading a good book is such a joy

Woman reading on Kindle

If you're reading this post, you're a reader, and you love books. I've been a reader for most of my life, from as far back as I can remember reading. I still have a very old torn up and colored copy of A Child's Garden of Verses by Robert Louis Stevenson from my childhood that I now deeply regret defacing, but it holds a certain charm and nostalgia in my life. I love books, and I love reading, but sometimes, certain books don't work for us. It's okay not to love everything.
