What Helen Read #44: December 2019

I'm sorry that this is coming to you a little late. January tends to be the month where we do recaps of the previous year and the top reads from 2019 dominated the first half of the month. But better late than never, you still get Helen's reads from December 2019.

So December was a quiet month of reading for Helen. The lucky lady went on a holiday on a cruise and she had a lovely time.

Here's what Helen read for the last month.

Helen always has a fab reading month. Let's see what stood out for her ...

I still managed to read 14 books even with a cruise and Christmas so I think I did well.

I read my first Fiona McIntosh book and it won’t be the last. Wow! The Diamond Hunter is a fabulous book.

Tea Cooper’s The Girl In The Painting was such a page turner, as was Trish Morey’s One Summer Between Friends that took us to Lord Howe Island with three friends.

Call Me Lucy by Rania Battany was a compelling and moving story one that I would highly recommend. 2019 is Ms Battany’s debut year and she is rocking it.

Michelle Douglas again won me with her newest The Maid, The Millionaire and the Baby and Fiona McArthur took me on a trip on the Orient Express for a moving second chance story with Midwife On The Orient Express.

Beth Prentice again had me laughing with her newest Wicked Little Lies. This is a cosy mystery loved it.

Truly though all of the books are reads I would highly recommend.

Have Fun, Helen.

Well, here's what Helen read. What do you think? Did you read any of the same books? What did you read this month? Tell us below.

    4. Gill, sadly, that book is only available on Amazon Australia right now. I couldn't even find it on Amazon US. It might become available in other countries later.
