What Deanna Read #38: March 2019

I know the blog is on a break but I'm trying not to be gone entirely. Right now, I'm sitting at the LAX airport waiting for my connecting flight home and I've got about another hour before we board. Timing-wise, it's pretty perfect. I have time to kill. It's time for a blog post of what I read for the month. Et voila!

Here's what I read for the month.

Last month has been a rocky month for me but I still managed to get a bit of reading done. All the books I read were excellent since I haven't read that many and with my limited time for reading, I'm much more selectinve.

Of note, I finished the Pioneers series with Saving Mercy by Angel Lawson. Ms Lawson has a way with her writing that's very moving and emotional. I loved it.

Dipping into an old favorite with the latest and book in the series is Untouchable by Jayne Ann Krentz. I love everything by Ms Krentz and this one is no exception. It was excellent.

I also managed to catch up on the Guild Hunter series with Archangel's Prophecy by Nalini Singh. Ms Singh continues to knock it out of the park. Raphael is lush and his love for Elena is breathtaking. The entire book was intense, emotional, and tragic. Another winner.

And finally. I continued reading the Salsang Chronicles with Stained Hearts by Helen Scott and Serena Akeroyd. Gotta say, these ladies tell a good story. I'm enjoying how this academy themed story is evolving. What stood out in this book was the depth given to the characters. I felt like I got to know them a heck of a lot better in this book.

That's it from me. What did you read for this last month? Do leave a comment and let me know.

Stay tuned for Helen's books next... if I have time.
