What Deanna Read #37: February 2019

The post for this month very nearly didn't happen. There are a lot of things going on in my life right now and things are rather overwhelming. As I write this, I am an hour and a half away from hopping on an airplane to go care for a sick family member. Pile on a very aggressive and demanding work schedule on top of that and life is not easy at the moment. My health is suffering too and I've just been to the doctor and got on meds for that. Sigh.

Anyway, you are not interested in my woes. You are here for the books!

I did get some reading done in the month of February. Most of them were excellent because I'm sticking to favorites still. That's all I really have time for at the moment.

Here's what I read for the month.

As with last month, between very little reading time and sticking to authors I love, I've had a good reading month.

If you want something sexy and filthy, then Screw You and Screw Me from the Screwed Duet, Five Points, Hell's Kitchen series is your jam. Finn, the hero, is a cocky, confident, filthy, sexy, rough diamond. I loved him so much. I didn't think I would but I did. You need to read these books if only to experience Finn.

I'm continuing to enjoy the shared world Planet Athion series and this time it's by Angel Lawson and her Pioneers series. Taking Mercy and Finding Mercy were both very enjoyable. I loved the Athions - aliens, yum! and Ms Lawson has a very engaging writing style that tugs at your heartstrings. If you haven't already, you need to check out the Planet Athion books.

That's it from me. What did you read for this last month? Do leave a comment and let me know.

Stay tuned for Helen's books next.
