What Deanna Read #33: October 2018

Y'know, I could probably fib and tell you I read a lot of books in October but the truth is work in October kicked my butt and I had zero brain power and energy to read.

So my read count? Two books!! Fortunately, they were both good books.

But now I'm so behind on my reading. **SOBS**

And you're probably wondering why I even bothered with so few books? Because I like to know what YOU read. Shout out to Gill who always posts her books in the comments cos I love seeing what she's read for the month.

Here's what I read for the month.

Not much to say this month since I only read two books but fortunately, they were both good.

Triad by Serena Akeroyd is the third book in a continuing series that I've been reading which involves shifters, fae and all sorts of supernatural and paranormal goodness. The stories are intense as all get out and I just don't know how Ms Akeroyd's freaky brain comes up with these plots. It's a fab read so you need to check it out from the first book in the series, Trinity.

Good Girl's Bad Lessons is also the third book in a series and I think it might be the final book in the series too. It's a fun, quick book to read. Lots of sex, lots of fun, and a little bit of emotional upheaval.

That's it from me. What did you read for this last month? Do leave a comment and let me know.

I want to say stay tuned for Helen's books she read in October too but I'm not sure if I'll get them since Helen is away on a lovely holiday cruise right now. I've been seeing the pictures she's been posting and it looks like she is having an amazing time.

  2. Wow. I'm doing good sometimes too finish one book in a month. I read magazines and such as well.

When reading mystery novels I can usually finish one in a weekend, if I'm left to my own devices. I'm rarely left to my own devices these days.

    1. I don't get as much time to read now because of work. I used to be able to read 3 or 4 books a week which was fantastic.

    1. Gill, I'm so behind on my Anna Hackett and Cara Bristol books. And now you've got me adding Veronica Scott to my list. I love scifi romance. I need to read Cynthia Sax too. I've heard she's good. How's Benidorm? My bestie lives there.

    1. I'm really missing it but equally I don't have the energy and brain power by the end of the work day or during the weekend to pack too much reading in.
