What Helen Read #29: August 2018

Well, it's been a hectic few days since I'm home for a week and finally squeezing some time to blog. Loving seeing the books Helen read as I put this post together ... on time, this month!

Here's what Helen read for the last month.

Helen always has a fab reading month. Let's see what stood out for her ...

Again so many great books. Standouts were...

Isobel's Promise by Maggie Christensen. What a fabulous story! The hero is 67 and the heroine 65 and it just hit the spot with a fabulous read.

Overdrive by Juanita Kees is the start of a series set in Montana around the Nascars and the Calhoun family and boy, was it good. I look forward to more in this series.

With The Million Pound Marriage Deal by Michelle Douglas, firstly the title is awesome, I reckon and the story fabulous. Ms Douglas never disappoints me.

Stefanie London is another go-to author for me and there were two of her books this month. Both part of different series. Hard Deal, a Harlequin Dare is steamy and sensual, and a must read, and Bad Reputation, the 2nd in this fantastic series about a dating app that rates the men.

I have to say that I did very much enjoy them all.

Well, here's what Helen read. What do you think? Did you read any of the same books? What did you read this month? Tell us below.

  5. I loved the Botanist Daughter as well, it was something different!. I have Sisters and Brothers on my list to read but I need to catch up on a few Harlequins. It seemed like there was some great releases in August that I missed
